The Remington Indiana Advance Auto Distribution Center has three new positions available. 2011 is the year Advance Auto will begin hiring employees to get the facility fully functioning by the end of the year. Stay tuned on our website as information becomes available.
Responsible for developing, analyzing, planning, and implementing supply chain solutions with the goal of improving efficiencies and reducing costs. Directs, plans, and manages distribution projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budget. Lead cross-functional operational and engineering teams without direct reporting influence. Performs the following duties personally or through influence.
(Inventory Control) must be knowledgeable in all facets of the department. Must be able to think on his/her feet and make sound decisions with the support of the upper facility Manager.
The overall mission of this position involves supplying auto parts and accessories to the Advance Auto Parts store locations. All Advance Auto Parts Team members will be required to assist in any department (other than their primary department) when and where their assistance is required.
These departments may include: Shipping, Receiving, Replenishment Reclamation, Inventory control, etc.
